The world’s best problem-solving team hails from a tiny high school southwest of Madison.
Pecatonica High School’s 15-student team was named the grand champion for their project promoting driver safety at the International Future Problem Solving Conference May 31 at Michigan State University in East Lansing.
The students are from Blanchardville and Hollandale, where winding backroads potentially are disastrous for the unbuckled, inexperienced driver tempted by cell phone distractions and excessive speed.
