2007 Milestones and Successes

Strategic Plan 2007-2009

Everything we do is based on and traces back directly to our Strategic Plan. From our mission and vision statements to our operating principles and stated goals, action plans and timelines, this plan guides the day-to-day work of the Thrive Board of Directors, staff and working committees.

Our Strategic Plan for 2007-2009 has five external goals:
  • Grow target sectors
  • Retain and expand key base sectors
  • Enhance quality of life
  • Engage regional stakeholders
  • Brand the region

2007 Successes

Working from our Strategic Plan, Thrive has accomplished an enormous amount in its inaugural year, and to-date, has achieved success in reaching all milestones in the plan.

To be successful, we must join forces

"The Madison Community Foundation was one of the first to provide a grant to the then Collaboration Council. The gift came from our focus area of Economic Development. The Foundation feels strongly that in order to be successful we all need to join forces and build our assets together. The Madison Community Foundation is delighted and impressed with the leadership shown by Jennifer Alexander, her staff and the volunteer leaders that have made remarkable progress in reaching out to eight counties of the Madison Region."
