Capital Brewery in Middleton was among eight Wisconsin-based brewing companies to earn medals at the Great American Beer Festival held over the weekend in Denver.
Capital took home a gold for its Autumnal Fire in the German-style strong bock category. It is the third time the beer has garnered gold at the festival, which this year drew 472 breweries that submitted
more than 2,000 beers.
