Wisconsin Technology Network News, 04.29.08
Gentel Biosciences, a maker of protein-based tools for research, has announced progress on an advanced microarray being developed in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Thermo Fisher, headquartered in Waltham, Mass., and Gentel have completed the first stage of a new patent-pending product that will shift microarrays, or tests, to a new 96-well configuration. The new product will evolve current offerings toward an “ELISA-like” format to increase speed and volume, and enable the automated processing of thousands of samples per day.
