Jellyfish.com has jumped into the big pond.
The homegrown comparison shopping site launched about 18 months ago has been acquired by Microsoft Corp., the Redmond, Wash.-based company announced late Monday on its search engine blog.
"Jellyfish has done some really innovative work in comparative shopping
engines. We think the technology has some interesting potential applications as we continue to invest heavily in shopping and commerce as a key component of Live Search," according to the blog entry.
