Beaver Dam Community Hospitals was named Fire Starter of the Month by the Studer Group for the month of October.
Studer Group is a consulting firm that worked with BDCH last year to introduce a new service philosophy of "Delivering Organizational Excellence." It was closely tied to a new strategic branding initiative "Excellence. Delivered." that also was launched in 2007.
Both the new philosophy and the branding initiative demonstrate a commitment to service, quality care, community outreach and growth, according to a press release from the hospital.
Studer Group works with hundreds of health care organizations across the country and each month chooses one organization to be honored with a Fire Starter Award. Quint Studer said a Fire Starter hospital ingites the flame of service and caring for others that guides and supports the organization and results in measurable positive outcomes.
