A Madison company that is developing products for treating stubborn bacterial infections said Friday it
has received $2.4 million from the U.S. Department of Defense in a second round of funding.
ConjuGon Inc. will use the money to refine its technology for treating wounds infected with organisms that are highly resistant to antibiotics, said Steve Watt, chief operating officer.
ConjuGon received $1.2 million from the Defense Department last year. In both cases, the funds were
requested by U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), Watt said.
