No SUVs, but talks on Janesville plant's future continue

Despite Monday's announcement that General Motors will end production of sport utility vehicles at the Janesville assembly plant just before Christmas, much earlier than expected, there still is hope that another product eventually will be made at the plant.
Union, business, community and government leaders presented GM with an incentive package in September in an attempt to attract new manufacturing to the Janesville plant, which was set to end production by 2010.
